Angel Tree Program
Each holiday season, the Manchester Police Department is proud to continue a tradition of giving back through our annual Angel Tree Program. A community driven effort dedicated to bringing joy, comfort, and essential support to local children and families in need.
Working in conjunction with the Manchester City School System and many local community partners, this program helps ensure that families throughout our area receive support during the holiday season.
Through the generosity of our community, volunteers, and local partners, we are able to fulfill Angel Tree bags each year. Every bag is thoughtfully prepared to include gifts, warm clothing, and hygiene products, ensuring that each child feels cared for and remembered during the holiday season.
In addition to supporting children, the program also helps families put food on the table during this special time of year. We provide holiday food boxes for families, helping ease financial burdens and allowing families to focus on spending meaningful time together.
A Community Effort
The Angel Tree Program is more than just a holiday initiative; it is a reflection of the compassion and generosity that make Manchester such a special place. Together, we are able to ensure that every child experiences the joy of the season and that families feel supported when it matters most.
As another effort to assist those in need, the Manchester Police Department also provides food baskets during Thanksgiving for the elderly and others in need within our community.
We would like to thank all of the volunteers and Manchester Police Department staff who make this program possible year after year. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the many individuals, businesses, and organizations who donate and support this effort. This program would not be possible without the incredible generosity of our community.
